Cinnamon’s

If you have ever been to Oahu then you have probably been directed to Cinnamon’s in Kailua.   If not, well you are in luck as Cinnamon’s has come to Las Vegas.  That’s right folks, the 9th island is now home to Guava Chiffon Pancakes.

Cinnamon’s serves the usual Hawaiian breakfast plates–meat, eggs and rice–with options for meat including SPAM, Kalua Pork, and Portuguese Sausage to name a few.  They also serve Kal-Bi ribs, Loco Moco, different types of benedicts including their signature Kalua Pork, and a selection of omelettes.  But, and this is a big but, they are known for their pancakes, specifically the Guava Chiffon variety.  This luxurious, decadent, fluffy piece of heaven was ranked one of the 10 best pancakes in the U.S. and as a whole the restaurant consistently ranks one of the best on Oahu.

The Las Vegas location of Cinnamon’s is a quick service variety where you order at the counter and the food is brought to you by their friendly and attentive wait staff.  A fun nod to Las Vegas, when you purchase a cup of coffee you are given a poker chip with the bear, Cinnamon, on it to use for your complimentary refill.  While waiting for your food don’t be surprised to see the General Manager walking around and talking to the diners.  He lived and worked at the Oahu location and it is partly thanks to him that we have this gem in our home town [Mahalo!].

When you come to Cinnamon’s you truly feel like part of the Ohana–well fed and happy.  We are so glad to have this Hawaiian staple in the Valley.  Cinnamon’s is open from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 7 days a week and is located in the Trader Joe’s anchored plaza at Buffalo and Washington.  Hau’oli ai, denizens!
